It’s time to #Cancel2020, but not before we celebrate all that the tenants have accomplished this year.
When COVID hit New York and Cuomo put the city and state on PAUSE, tenants sprung into action. Tenants demanded and won, an eviction moratorium, organized buildings, and rent strikes, and at the rent guidelines boards, successfully fought for another rent freeze.
This year we’ll celebrate from a distance, with a cocktail cabaret on zoom featuring inspiring performances from the Met Council Community. Gala tickets start at $50; consider becoming a Super Fan at $100 or join the Host Committee for $200
